Billing
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE:
As of January 1, 2022, under the No Surprise Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected costs of your mental health care services.
This applies if:
You are not using insurance (private pay),
You are not submitting claims for reimbursement, or
You request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
What You Can Expect:
You will receive a written Good Faith Estimate before your first appointment, or within 3 business days of requesting one.
The estimate will include fees per session, the anticipated frequency of sessions, and the total estimated cost of services.
You have the right to dispute a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
I have partnered with Alma who handles the billing/insurance.
You can check your eligibility here: https://secure.helloalma.com/providers/melanie-wicker/
